UP CLOSE explores the space between the reality of a live performance and surreality of a music video.
"Golden Stairs" is a stream of consciousness, an inner conversation about goals and fears, love and demons and being torn between two places. It was written right before visiting the West Coast of North America for the first time in 4 years and it portrays the conflicts and contradictions a mind has with itself.
